How Invoice Factoring Works
Invoice factoring is a straightforward financing tool: you sell your unpaid invoices to a factoring company in exchange for immediate cash. Here is the typical process.
Submit Your Invoices
You deliver goods or services to a creditworthy business or government customer and generate an invoice. You submit that unpaid invoice — or a batch of invoices — to a factoring company for review. The factor verifies the invoice is legitimate and the debtor is creditworthy.
Receive an Advance
Once approved, the factoring company advances 80–95% of the invoice face value — typically within 24 to 48 hours. This immediate cash infusion lets you cover payroll, purchase materials, or fund operations without waiting 30 to 90 days for your customer to pay.
Collect the Balance
When your customer pays the invoice in full, the factoring company releases the remaining balance to you — minus its factoring fee, which typically ranges from 1% to 5% of the invoice value depending on your industry, volume, and the creditworthiness of your customers.
How Our Comparison Service Works
InvoiceFactoringPro.com is an independent matching and referral service — we are not a lender or a factoring company. We do not hold, purchase, or service any invoices.
Free to use. Submitting a quote request through our site costs you nothing. There are no application fees or obligations.
How we make money. We earn a referral fee from factoring companies when a successful match leads to a signed agreement. This does not affect the rates or terms you are quoted.
Multiple quotes. We connect you with multiple pre-vetted factoring companies so you can compare offers and choose the best fit for your business.
No hard credit pull. Our matching process does not trigger a hard credit inquiry on your personal or business credit profile.
